- There are no food or water facilities at the trails, so it’s essential to bring sufficient water and snacks. Packing these in a backpack will make your cycling trip more comfortable and enjoyable.
- A Change of clothes for the return trip home would be advantageous.

Driving to Parklands Mountain Bike Trails is straightforward and offers convenient access for a day of biking. Here’s the best way to get there:

Directions:
- From Brisbane: Take the Bruce Highway (M1) north towards the Sunshine Coast. Continue past Caboolture and the Glass House Mountains until you reach the exit for Parklands. Take the exit and follow the signs directing towards Nambour. Once on Nambour Connection Rd, turn right onto Radar Hill Road. The entrance to Parklands Mountain Bike Trails will be on your right.
- From Noosa: Head south on the Eumundi Noosa Rd (State Route 12) then Sunshine Motorway (M70) then Eumundi Noosa Rd (State Route 12) then merge onto the Bruce Highway (M1) heading south. Follow the highway until you see signs for the Parklands exit. Follow the same directions as above from Nambour Connection Rd to Radar Hill Road.

- ecoTekkSC will meet you at the Trailhead car park to drop off and pick up your hired e-MTB(s)

- There is ample parking available at the trailhead on Radar Hill Road. You’ll find both a designated parking area and additional street parking if needed. It’s a good idea to arrive early during weekends or holidays as it can get quite busy.

- The drive to Parklands offers scenic views of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Consider stopping along the way for photos or a quick stretch.
- Ensure your vehicle is in good condition for the drive, especially if you’re transporting bikes. Check your bike rack security before heading out.

Accessing Parklands MTB Park on the Sunshine Coast using public transport is convenient, especially if you plan to rent an e-MTB from ecoTekkSC. Here’s how you can get there:
By Train and Bus to Parklands:
- Start your journey at Nambour Train Station if you’re coming from different parts of the Sunshine Coast or directly from Brisbane. The train service connects well with local bus routes that head towards the Parklands area.
- Catch a bus towards Parklands: From Nambour Station, you can take bus route 631 heading north, which will take you closer to the Parklands MTB Park. Alternatively, if you are coming from Noosa, bus route 631 heading south from Noosa Junction will also lead you towards the Parklands area.
Bus Stops Near Parklands Conservation Park Mountain Bike Trails:
- Stop ID 302006 (Old Bruce Hwy near Ayrshire Rd, Kulangoor): This stop is about a ~8-minute bike ride (2.8 km) from the Parklands Mountain Bike Trails. It’s conveniently located near the ecoTekkSC workshop where you can pick up your e-MTB. It’s a straightforward 300m walk north along Ayrshire Rd to our workshop from the bus stop.
- Stop ID 302148 (Nambour Connection Rd near Oleander Dr, Parklands): Another nearby stop to Parklands Mountain Bike Trails. From here there is a 10-15 minute walk to the main trailhead for Parklands Conservation Park Mountain Bike Trails. ecoTekkSC will arrange to meet you at the trailhead with your e-MTB hire.

Final Leg to the Trails:
- Once you’ve got your e-MTB, head towards Radar Hill Rd, Kulangoor, QLD 4560, where the main trailhead for Parklands Conservation Park Mountain Bike Trails is located. This area offers a small parking space and additional street parking if needed.
