Embark on an exhilarating e-Bike tour through the breathtaking countryside of Maleny, one of the most picturesque areas of the Sunshine Coast. Our tour offers a unique blend of undulating cycling and awe-inspiring views of the Glasshouse Mountains, a stunning range of volcanic peaks that dominate the landscape.
Starting at the Maleny Showgrounds, we’ll follow the serene Obi Obi Creek pathway to the Platypus viewing platform, where you might spot these elusive creatures in their natural habitat. Our adventure continues along Mountain View Rd, where we’ll take in the stunning vistas of the Glasshouse Mountains, including the iconic Mount Beerwah, Mount Tibrogargan, and Mount Coonowrin.
Along the way, we’ll stop at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a beautiful rainforest reserve that spans over 55 hectares and offers breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains and the Sunshine Coast. Here, you can enjoy a coffee break at the Mountain View Café while immersing yourself in the tranquil beauty of the surroundings and listening to the sounds of the native birds.

With Maleny receiving an average of ~2m of rain per year and experiencing over 112 rainy days annually, riders should be prepared for the likelihood of rain or showers, especially during the wettest months of January, February, and March. Our tours will proceed in showery conditions, allowing you to embrace the beauty of Maleny’s misty rainforests and rolling green hills. However, for safety reasons, tours may be postponed or rescheduled during periods of heavy rainfall. We recommend dressing appropriately for wet weather and embracing the adventure of cycling through Maleny’s breathtaking, rain-refreshed landscapes.
