Embark on an exhilarating e-Bike tour through the breathtaking beauty of the Sunshine Coast with our Golden Beach Cycling tour. Starting from Pelican Waters Resort, you’ll ride past the Bell’s Creek boat ramp and into the heart of Caloundra CBD. From there, you’ll continue along the picturesque Pumicestone Passage, catching glimpses of the famous Glasshouse Mountains along the way.

The black swan rookery at Bells Creek Pumicestone Channel is a unique spot that is home to a large number of black swans. Here, you can connect with nature and photograph the Black swan’s immersed in the beauty of the area.

One of the most popular historical sites is the Military Jetty, which was used for military support operations for Fort Bribie during World War II. In 1939, temporary batteries were installed at Caloundra and northern Bribie Island to provide defence support for the RAN against light-raiding warships The jetty serves as a great spot for fishing and provides a stunning view of the ocean.

Another popular historical site is the Kings Beach Bathing Pavilion, which was built back in 1937. The pavilion is heritage-listed and is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. 

You’ll also ride along Kings beach where if you look to the left you’ll see the Caloundra Lighthouses, which were built in 1896 and are still in operation today. The friends of the lighthouses offer a guided tour of the lighthouses to learn more about their fascinating history.

The Queen of the Colonies Monument at Moffat Beach is a concrete memorial erected in 1963 on the site where 13 passengers from the Queen of the Colonies shipwreck were cast ashore in a small boat during stormy weather in April 1863.
