In 2015, Darren embarked on a journey, leveraging his extensive background in managing tourism resorts. Recognising the disparity in fitness levels amongst guests exploring Noosa’s bike pathways, he envisioned a solution – electric-assist bicycles. These e-bikes emerged as a game-changer, levelling the fitness and skill divide. They enable both novices and those of average fitness to savour the beauty of Noosa and its environs effortlessly.
On the other end of the coast is @ecoTekkSC. Stuart and Tracey, a passionate husband and wife team, stumbled upon the e-bike experience through a providential win at a sustainability conference. Despite initial hesitations, a trial ride around Noosa rekindled their love for cycling, dormant for over two decades. Inspired by this reawakening and their dedication to environmental stewardship, they joined forces with Darren in 2018 to establish ecoTekk Sunshine Coast (@ecoTekkSC).
